Full Time

Supervisor – Senior Pastor

The Worship Pastor will carry out the mission of Harvest Oakville as he gives leadership to all aspects of musical worship. The heart of this role is to encourage and shepherd God’s people to worship God in spirit and truth.

ROLE

  • Reports directly to and works closely with the Senior Pastor
  • Responsible for leading and managing the staff in the Worship, Production and Creative departments
  • Lead, shepherd and train the volunteers within the Worship, Production and Creative departments
  • Uphold the mission and vision of Harvest Oakville
  • Worship service planning
  • Worship leading on weekends, monthly prayer meetings, and other events
  • Actively seeks to raise up and mentor new worship leaders

Worship Leader – Harvest Ottawa

Full Time
Supervisor – Senior Pastor, Harvest Ottawa

The Worship Leader will lead all aspects of musical worship, A/V, and weekend equipment set-up and tear down. The heart of this full-time role is to encourage and shepherd God’s people to worship God in spirit and truth. This position reports directly to the Senior Pastor under the direction of the Elders of the church.

WORSHIP ROLE

  • Leading worship during weekly rehearsals, Sunday mornings, monthly prayer meetings, and Harvest wide church events
  • Discipling and developing worship team members in musical gifts and spiritual maturity
  • Recruiting and developing new worship team members
  • Leading in the development of video production along with website media and graphics
  • Planning, reflecting, and implementing of vertical worship services with the Senior Pastor

EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum three years of experience of leading a worship ministry

Departmental Coordinator

Department – Biblical Counselling

The Departmental Coordinator will carry out the mission of Harvest Bible Chapel as he or she is responsible for overseeing the operations and administrative support for the Biblical Counselling department. The heart of this role is to use gifts of administration and organization to connect individuals in our church with appropriate care so that they can be shepherded and discipled according to their specific needs. This individual will have a strong desire to live out Matthew 22:37-39 for the glory of God.

ROLE

  • Reports to Executive Assistant to Executive Pastor of Ministry Development
  • Works closely with the Pastor of Counselling Ministries
  • Responsible for providing administrative support for Pastor of Counselling Ministries, Biblical Counsellors and Lay Counsellors (calendar management, scheduling, resource management)
  • Overseeing processes for Biblical Counselling including intake and care plan development
  • Coordinate logistics pertaining to Premarital Counselling, Heart Resurgence, Grief Share and Biblical Counselling events
  • Uphold the mission and vision of Harvest Oakville
  • A heart for using administrative gifts to advance Kingdom work through the Biblical Counselling department

Human Resources Generalist / Health & Safety Coordinator

Performs professional level duties related to Human Resources, including responsibilities in employee relations, training, employment, recruitment, compliance, leave administration, benefits administration and events/recognition, and coordination of Health & Safety program and practices.

ROLE

Human Resources:

  • Ensures legal and ethical compliance with employment legislation [AODA (Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act), Employment Standards Act (ESA), Human Rights Code (HRC)]
  • Partners with employees and management to administer and communicate Human Resources policies, procedures, laws, standards, and government regulations
  • Updates and maintains employee handbook, policies, and procedures
  • Assists with recruitment of new employees
  • Maintains accurate and timely job postings. Conducts new hire screening, background checks, on-boarding, and orientation
  • Responsible for completion and accuracy of all personnel files

Facility Maintenance

Part Time 10 hrs/wk
Department – Facilities
Supervisor – Facility Manager

Performs duties related to our facility, including needed repairs from a pre-written check-list

Duties, responsibilities, and activities may include:

  • Help inspect building and detect malfunctions and needed repairs
  • Minor electrical maintenance which may include repair of fixtures (e.g. wall switches and outlets, and replace florescent bulbs and tubes etc.)
  • Minor plumbing maintenance (e.g. replacement or repair of leaks in drains or faucets, unclogging drains etc.)
  • Painting, (preparing surfaces and using a brush, sprayer, or roller to apply, minor carpentry)
  • Clean rooms, hallways, rest rooms, stairways, and other work areas
  • Some flexibility with hours
