What should my student bring for the day?
Each student should bring a water bottle, hat, sunscreen, extra clothes (if necessary), a PEANUT/NUT free lunch (including morning and afternoon snacks) Monday – Wednesday, and Friday.

How do you travel to and from the scheduled day trips?
We travel to and from our day trips by chartered school buses.

Is there a lunch option?
This year you have the option to purchase a lunch for your student on Monday (pita) and Wednesday (sub). These forms are due June 25. You can drop them off at our main office or mail to 500 Great Lakes Blvd, Oakville, ON, L6L 6X9

We are getting a BBQ lunch and a pizza dinner together at Wonderland on Thursday.

Is there a discount for multiple students?
No there is no discount for multiple students.

$25 if your student has a Wonderland Season Pass

Is there financial assistance available?
We want each student to have the opportunity to attend our Harvest Jr High Camp. If you are in need of financial assistance please email youth@harvestoakville.ca with the subject line ‘Financial Assistance Request – JR High Day Camp’ and a member of our staff will connect with you. The form must be completed and submitted to the church before April 30, 2017 to be eligible.

What is your cancellation policy?
You are eligible for a refund of the camp registration cost minus a $35 processing fee (per registration) if withdrawal from camp occurs within 14 calendar days from the scheduled start date of camp (June 25, 2017). Any withdrawals after this date are not refundable for any reason (i.e illness, emergencies, change of plans).

Do you have before/after camp care?
We do not offer before or after camp care.

Can my student attend who has not yet entered Gr.6 or is in Gr.9-12?
Our Harvest Jr High camp is open to those born 2003–2005.

Can my student be grouped together with a friend?
Requests for students to be in the same group will be based on age. Not all requests will be possible. In order for your student to be grouped together with a friend, both students must submit the same request on their registration form.

Who will contact me in the event of an emergency?
If there is an emergency every effort will be made to first reach the parent/guardian we have on file. If we aren’t able to reach the parent/guardian we will then call the emergency contact.

Do you have a camp nurse?
We have a camp nurse available each day we are in the building, they will provide care for all injuries.

My student has allergies, how do you handle that?
Each leader has a roster explaining the various allergies of students in their group. We do our best to accommodate any allergies when it comes to snacks and treats offered throughout the day.

Is my student allowed to bring their electronic device?
We suggest all iPods/phones/electronics stay at home. Harvest Oakville will not assume responsibility for any lost/stolen items during our week of camp.
